US National White-Water Center
The U.S National Whitewater Center is a 1300-acre property which offers a variety of outdoor activities for all skill levels and ages. Located just 7 miles from the Vineyards, residents can experience incredible whitewater rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, rope courses & zip lines and mountain biking on more than 40 miles of trails. The Whitewater Center is also host to a variety of outdoor concerts and festivals throughout the year.
The River District
Expected to be one of the largest mixed used projects in the history of Charlotte. The approval of The River District has positioned the Vineyards to be in one of the most desirable locations in all of Charlotte. The project includes over 8 million square feet of office space, more than 500,000 sf of restaurants and retail and over 1000 hotel rooms and nearly 5000 residences.
